PREVENTIVE MEASURES

 

At the Hotel Miró, we would like to inform you that we are implementing both the instructions and recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the competent authorities in Spain.

But our objective is to go further and, in addition to ensuring strict compliance with these requirements, we are raising our standards in terms of safety, quality, health and hygiene and incorporating additional standards and protocols. All this is in order to maintain excellence in our product and service,  ensure safe environments and that our guests are as protected and cared for as if they were at home.

Among these hygiene measures to prevent COVID, we especially want to highlight the following:

We are working to obtain the Safe Tourism Certification, developed by the ICTE (Institute of Tourism Quality of Spain) through a prestigious consulting firm.

We will carry out temperature controls using infrared thermometers on employees, suppliers and customers and we will place disinfecting mats at the hotel entrances.

We have increased the cleaning and disinfection frequencies and protocols in all areas of the hotel.

We will provide the different spaces of the hotel with disinfectant gel for both clients and staff, facilitating hand washing with soap and water at all times.

The use of masks will be mandatory for all staff. We have defined specific PPE for each position in order to guarantee the health and safety of our employees and clients.

We will ensure compliance with the use of masks by customers when social and safety distance cannot be guaranteed.

We have adapted our restaurants and public areas to guarantee safe social distance.

We will implement prior reservations in different services such as breakfast, gym and wellness in order to manage capacity and guarantee the correct disinfection of these areas.

We will offer room service at no additional cost.

We will reduce the in-room stationery, providing only indispensable items for single use.

We will promote the digitization of information and services through TV and tablets.

We will have ozone systems to disinfect those areas that cannot be ventilated naturally.

We will train all our staff in the new protocols.

We will implement the role of House Manager, responsible for ensuring good practices and compliance with security, cleaning and hygiene measures for  employees, customers and suppliers.
